I was only in London for a few days, but I did visit the Tower of London

The Tower Ravens are willing to pose for photos if you don’t spook them.

The Yeoman Warders are nicknamed Beefeaters. They guard the Tower of London and will let you photograph them, but they won’t smile.

I took a boat on the Thames to get to Parliament.

Chicago is one of the great architectural cities of the world. If you haven’t done it recently, take the architecture boat cruise on the river.

There are always a lot of people working on the streets, buildings, bridges, trains, etc. in Chicago. I took some pictures.

I am back from a long trip in June to Chicago, London, Lisbon, Funchal, and Porto. It will take a while, but I’m going to post some pictures from my trip. Here are a couple of shots of street art in Chicago.

This area is a wonderful modification to the Baker Wetlands that came about when the by-pass was completed around Lawrence. Here is how it looked this morning when the sum first came out.

I used to host my own blog before switching to Bluehost. I enjoyed running Apache on a Linux server and updating my own WordPress. I did not enjoy the DNS aspects. Anyway, I am going to post some of my favorite older pictures. Here is one of Shelf Creek as it runs into Shelf Lake, which is a Lake on the side of Thatchtop Mountain in Rocky Mountain National Park.

The Canadian Rockies are so beautiful that it is hard to take a bad picture. Here I just opened up the aperture and used one stop of negative exposure compensation. I did not enhance this photo in Photoshop except to compress the range of the original raw image a little bit.
